Ares Management Corp. has collected more than $1 billion for its Real Estate Enhanced Income Fund, according to a recent SEC filing. The closed-end fund is looking to invest in U.S. real estate.
The fund opened to investors in December 2018 and had raised $867 million within its first year of fundraising. According to the latest SEC filing, the vehicle has secured funding from a total of 18 investors.
An equity fundraising target was not disclosed.
Ares is a global alternative investment manager operating integrated businesses across credit, private equity, real estate and strategic initiatives. The firm’s real estate group manages comprehensive public and private equity and debt strategies and had $14.4 billion of assets under management as of Sept. 30, according to
