ARA Dunedin to acquire InfraRed Real Estate

ARA Dunedin has acquired InfraRed European Real Estate Investment Management, a specialist discretionary fund manager in the real estate sector with $1.4 billion of equity under management, from InfraRed Capital Partners. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The strategic acquisition will support ARA Dunedin, owned by ARA Asset Management (ARA), as it looks to expand its footprint in the European real estate market. ARA Dunedin will work with InfraRed Real Estate to drive its strategies in European value-add and core-plus urban logistics, areas where the business has a long-standing track record.

The transaction is the result of a strategic review undertaken by InfraRed to determine the long-term evolution of its real estate investment management business, following the announcement of its partnership with Sun Life in December 2019.
