Antirion buys €245m Thales HQ in Stuttgart for Italian pension fund

Italian asset manager Antirion has acquired the German headquarters of Thales Group in Stuttgart, Germany, for €244.5 million ($270 million).

The four-part office campus on Thalesplatz offers a total rental space of 58,000 square meters (624,000 square feet). Currently, the office campus is leased to Thales Immobilien Deutschland GmbH on a long-term basis. The Thales Group is a global leader in aerospace, security and transportation.

Jens Göttler, managing director for Germany of La Francaise Real Estate Partners International, explained: “The acquisition of this office complex five years ago was one of the first acquisitions of Samsung SRA in Germany and one of the very early transactions conducted on behalf of South Korean investors in Germany.
