Almanac Realty investors closes fund with $819 million

Almanac Realty Investors, formerly Rothschild Realty, has held a final close for its value-added fund Almanac Realty Securities VI (ARS VI). The fund has raised $819 million in equity commitments, exceeding its $800 million target, from 21 investors. An additional $150 million in potential sidecar investment capital also has been approved, giving the fund nearly $1 billion in investment capacity.

Almanac VI succeeds five previous funds, totaling approximately $2.3 billion, which had the same investment strategy. Investors include Arkansas Teacher Retirement System, City and County of San Francisco Employees’ Retirement System, Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund, Los Angeles City Employees Retirement System and New Mexico State Investment Council.
