Alliance Global Advisors brings on VP of partner engagement

Alliance Global Advisors has hired Michael Byrne as vice president of partner engagement.

Byrne brings 15 years of institutional real estate experience to his new role at Alliance, joining with extensive asset management, portfolio management and sustainability skills.

Prior to joining Alliance, Byrne spent more than six years as director of real estate at Travelers. During his tenure, Byrne drove asset management and workplace strategy, construction and leasing, along with sustainability initiatives, including establishing a carbon neutrality goal for the enterprise. Prior to joining Travelers, Byrne worked for UBS Realty Investors for nine years, where he most recently served as lead portfolio analyst for the firm’s flagship open-end core fund.
