AEW Capital Management has launched a new fund targeting value-add investments in Asia, according to an SEC Form D filed on Dec. 10.
The fund, AEW Value Investors Asia IV, will seek to invest in CBD office, multifamily, retail and suburban office assets.
An equity fundraising target was not disclosed.
The previous fund in the series, AEW Value Investors Asia III, followed a similar investment strategy and closed in June 2018 with $1.12 billion in capital commitments. The fund was seeking $750 million to invest in major Asian gateway cities of Hong Kong, Seoul, Shangh
