AEW has acquired two grade-A properties in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, on behalf of AEW Europe Value Investors II (EVI II) fund.
The seller was HighBrook Investors, a New York–based real estate investment adviser.
This is the third investment for the EVI II Fund, following recent acquisitions in Munich and Madrid. The total portfolio value now stands close to €200 million ($219 million).
The first property is Boompjes 258, which features 16,000 square meters (172,222 square feet) of grade-A lettable space, spread out over 22 floors. The building is situated on the banks of the River Nieuwe Maas and offers panoramic views of Rotterdam.
The second property, Vasteland 10-40, is a mixed-used asset located 500 meters (1,640 feet) away from the first property and is adjacent to the Vasteland tram station.
