AEW has acquired a 55,000-square-meter (592,000-square-foot) fully leased logistics asset from DWS in northeast Milan, a strategic location for logistics services in Northern Italy. The transaction was made from DWS on behalf of a separate account mandate for a French institutional investor.
This prime asset was completed in 2018 as a build-to-suit project for Arcese, a global third-party logistics company and one of the largest of its kind in Italy. Arcese, which operates from 100 locations globally, uses the asset as its main European hub and fully leases the space with a weighted average lease term of approximately 23 years. Built to high technical specifications, the property has BREEAM Good In-Use certification.
