AEW has acquired a newly refurbished and extended class A logistics asset in Le Bignon, on the outskirts of Nantes, France. This off-market acquisition was made on behalf of a separate account mandate for the French public service additional pension scheme (ERAFP). The acquisition, from French developer 6e Sens Immobilier, enhances the regional diversification of ERAFP’s logistics portfolio in France.
The asset comprises a total of 18,677 square meters (201,040 square feet), including office space, and is fully leased to one of France’s leading express parcel delivery providers, with a weighted average unexpired lease term of 11 years. It has been refurbished and extended, achieving a BREEAM Excellent certification. Roof-mounted photovoltaic panels and parking lot shade structures are installed on-site.
