Aedifica, a Belgian company that invests in healthcare real estate, is expanding its Dutch healthcare real estate portfolio, with the acquisition of three properties in the Netherlands for a total transaction amount of €22 million ($25 million).
The assets consist of a 70-unit fully-operational care home in Apeldoorn for €10 million ($11 million), and two 50-unit healthcare facilities in Roermond for €12 million ($13.5 million).
The care home consists of two interconnected buildings that were constructed in 1997 and 2011. Approximately 70 seniors call the building home.
The first healthcare property, La Tour, is a former office building located in the center of Roermond, which will be redeveloped into a 30-apartment modern care facility for seniors.
The other asset, Villa Casimir, is a historic office building located in Roermond, which will also be completely redeveloped to support 20 seniors requiring continuous care.
