Rahul Agrawal has been promoted to the Actis partnership. He was previously energy director for SEA at Actis.
Agrawal joined Actis in 2012, initially focusing on India, where he was involved in Ostro Energy, one of India’s leading clean-energy independent power producers, sold to RE Energy, and Sprng Energy, a supplier of solar and wind power to electricity distribution companies in India, sold to Shell in 2022. Prior to Actis, Agrawal worked as an associate vice president in the infrastructure private equity team at ICICI Venture and with a mezzanine fund of IL&FS.
