4 Rivers Property Group, Declaration Partners, Big Cypress Capital form Southeast U.S. self-storage JV

4 Rivers Property Group, Declaration Partners and Big Cypress Capital have formed a joint venture to develop class A self-storage facilities in growth markets throughout the southeastern United States.

“We are thrilled to continue to build on our successful self-storage development strategy by adding our first Florida project to the portfolio,” said Wes McAdams, a principal at 4 Rivers.

The partnership intends to partner with best-in-class third-party operators for leasing and management of each of its projects. The management company for the venture’s first project will be announced at a later date.

The partnership also announced it held its first land closing in southwest Florida in second quarter 2023. Development on the high-traffic, high-demographic by-right site is anticipated to commence by early 2024 and deliver approximately 12 months later.
