Heather Fernstrom Border is a versatile, performance-driven, real asset professional building deep Limited Partner and Consultant networks over nearly two decades.

Prior to forming Alliance, Heather was Managing Director for National Real Estate Advisors and held positions with Hunt Investment Management and The Townsend Group. At those firms, she was responsible for assisting institutional clients in developing investment objectives, strategic planning, underwriting investments and capital raising. Heather’s professional experience also includes seventeen years within the private and public real estate sector, where she developed, implemented and led Investor Relations platforms.

Throughout her career, she held memberships at the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties (NAIOP), Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) and Institutional Real Estate, Inc. (IREI) among others.   Heather continues to speak and moderate various panels on industry-wide topics. She is an Advisory Board member of Outsourced Research & Capital and was recently asked to participate on PREA’s Governance Committee. In 2022, Heather received the GlobeSt. Women of Influence award and the GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum’s 50 under 40 award.

Douglas M. Weill is a Founder and Co-Managing Partner of Hodes Weill & Associates, a leading global capital advisory firm focused on real estate, infrastructure, and other real assets with offices in New York, Denver, London, Amsterdam, and Hong Kong. Mr. Weill is responsible for the origination of new business, project management of client mandates and oversight of the operations of the firm. He is member of the firm’s Operating Committee. Mr. Weill has approximately 30 years of experience in the real estate industry as a consultant, advisor, and investment banker, specializing since 2000 on the real estate investment and fund management industry. Mr. Weill has advised on institutional private placements for over 125 real estate private equity funds, raising in excess of $40 billion of capital.

Mr. Weill received a BS in Hotel Administration from Cornell University. Mr. Weill serves as a member of the Advisory Board of Cornell University’s Baker Program in Real Estate; a member of the board and Vice President of the Cornell Real Estate Council; and a member of the Advisory Board of the Cornell Program in Infrastructure Policy.

Anne Westbrook joined Tishman Speyer in 2023 and is responsible for capital raising activities in the United States. Prior to joining Tishman Speyer, Anne was an Executive Vice President at Heitman, raising capital for equity and debt strategies across the risk spectrum, managing investor relationships, and developing new products. Prior to Heitman, she held senior capital-raising positions at Berkadia Commercial Mortgage, LoanCore Capital, Square Mile Capital and Beekman Capital Partners among other firms. Anne is on the board of BridgePark in Richmond, VA and The Hill School in Middleburg, VA. She received her BA from Case Western Reserve University.
