Loretta Clodfelter serves as editorial director for Institutional Real Estate, Inc. (IREI) and is responsible for overseeing the editorial staff and production of the firm's various publications. Previously, she was senior editor of Institutional Real Estate Americas, IREI’s award-winning flagship publication. She has more than 20 years of experience covering the commercial and institutional real estate industry.
Jay DeWaltoff

Jay DeWaltoff is head of U.S. Real Estate Debt within DWS’s RREEF America platform. With 25 years of industry experience Jay leads a team responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and managing real estate debt investments within the U.S. as well as establishing and executing debt specific investment mandates. Throughout his career he has been directly involved with the origination, underwriting, and structuring of more than 300 loans totaling more than $17 billion. Prior to joining DWS Jay spent the past 11 years at J.P. Morgan Asset Management where he was a Managing Director and head of the Commercial Mortgage Loan Group. Jay holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Colin Hill
Managing Principal/Real Estate Consultant

Mr. Hill joined Meketa in 2021 and has 21 years of real estate investment experience. He is a consultant in the Private Markets Group focusing on real estate. Mr. Hill has extensive experience in commercial mortgage lending, analyzing funds, building investment portfolios, negotiating legal documents, and serving on fund advisory boards.
Prior to joining Meketa, he managed the real estate fund portfolio for Cigna’s General and Pension accounts. Before leading the fund management team, he had roles in acquisitions and asset management. Prior to joining Cigna’s investment team, Mr. Hill worked in Cigna’s Retirement Services, speaking directly with participants and members about their Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution plans. He holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in marketing from Quinnipiac University.
Mr. Hill is an active participant at industry organizations such as the Pension Real Estate Association (PREA) and Institutional Real Estate Inc.
