Loretta Clodfelter serves as editorial director for Institutional Real Estate, Inc. (IREI) and is responsible for overseeing the editorial staff and production of the firm's various publications. Previously, she was senior editor of Institutional Real Estate Americas, IREI’s award-winning flagship publication. She has more than 20 years of experience covering the commercial and institutional real estate industry.

Elizabeth is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Real Estate on the Real Assets team, where she is responsible for due diligence of primary, secondary and co-investment opportunities in real estate. She is a member of the Real Asset Investment Committee. Prior to joining Hamilton Lane in 2022, Elizabeth was a Managing Director with Jaguar Growth Partners where she was responsible for leading Latin American real estate private equity investments. Previously, Elizabeth was an Investment Manager at Aberdeen Asset Management on the Property Multi-Manager team and was a Vice President at Equity International, responsible for investing in emerging markets real estate companies. Earlier in her career, Elizabeth was an Associate at real estate private equity firm, JER Partners, and an investment banking analyst at Deutsche Bank. Elizabeth received her M.B.A from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an A.B. from Princeton University.
Mark Fitzgerald, CFA, CAIA

Mark Fitzgerald is Head of Research at Affinius Capital and is responsible for helping develop commercial real estate investment strategy. He leverages data-driven insights and rigorous market analysis to inform investment decisions, with a focus on enhancing portfolio performance and driving long-term value creation.
Mark was instrumental in the development of Affinius Capital’s proprietary AI research platform, which has significantly improved the speed, depth, and actionability of market insights. Mark previously led North American Research at Affinius Capital.
Prior to joining Affinius Capital in 2014, he held research and strategy positions at PPR.
An active leader in the real estate investment community, Mark served as Chair of both the PREA Research Affinity Group and the NCREIF Research Committee. He is a CFA and CAIA charterholder, and holds a master’s in business administration and a master’s degree in Quantitative Finance from Bentley College, as well as a Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University.
