Institutional Real Estate, Inc. is excited to announce our 2022 IREI : LIVE series. A virtual webinar series focusing on the most significant issues the industry is facing in today's climate. IREI : LIVE will be produced four times in 2022, beginning in March.
IREI : LIVE’s panels will feature a mix of GPs, LPs and consultants with a combination of four to six spread out over one, two or three panels per event. The live panels will be tailored to topics that are pertinent to each individual firm’s expertise and knowledge.
We are offering complimentary registration for this series. Programs are designed to be an interactive forum where attendees can send in questions to panel during our live event.

Chase McWhorter serves as Managing Director of Institutional Real Estate Americas for Institutional Real Estate, Inc. (IREI), an industry-leading publication focused on meeting the information needs of the institutional real estate community. In this capacity, he is responsible for global business development and client service focused on publication sponsorships, while also leading the recruitment of top institutional investors who serve on the Editorial Advisory Board of Institutional Real Estate Americas with the publication’s sponsors. McWhorter has more than 10 years’ experience in the real assets investment industry. McWhorter is a graduate of the University of Southern California, receiving a B.S. in Public Policy, Planning and Development, while also winning three Pac-10 Championships and two Rose Bowls as a member of the USC Trojan football team.

William Pattison is the head of the real estate research & strategy team within the risk, research & analytics group of MetLife Investment Management (MIM). He is responsible for research and strategy development in support of MIM’s real estate equity and debt platforms. In this role, he works closely with MIM’s real estate regional offices and portfolio managers to craft the strategic house view, drive thought leadership initiatives, monitor domestic and international capital markets, and develop investment strategies. As a member of the Investment Committee, Pattison reviews and votes on all acquisitions for MIM’s real estate in the United States.

Nick Russell is the Head of Investor Account Management at Juniper Square, partnering with leading investors, managers and consultants in the commercial real estate industry to improve transparency and reduce the burden of reporting. Working for a technology firm that emphasizes building with its customers, Russell understands the importance of listening and continuing education to drive alignment within the industry and ensure that future solutions are actionable and scalable. He has extensive experience developing and harmonizing data models, integrating systems and facilitating efficient data transfer workflows, and creating standardized and ad hoc reporting solutions across various client segments.
Sam Spencer, CAIA

Sam Spencer is a real estate investment officer for the Oregon Public Employees Retirement Fund. She is involved in the day-to-day management of the $12 billion real estate portfolio, including conducting diligence on new investment opportunities as well as providing oversight of the portfolio’s various limited partnerships, separate accounts and joint ventures. Before joining the Oregon State Treasury, Spencer was a senior manager research analyst at Pension Consulting Alliance. She graduated magna cum laude from Whitworth University with an economics degree. She is an M.B.A. candidate at Duke University, holds the CAIA designation and serves as the president of the Portland Alternative Investment Association.
Jennifer Stevens

Jennifer Stevens is co-founder and managing partner at Alliance Global Advisors. Her experience includes 16 years of institutional portfolio management and consulting, strategic and investment planning, real asset investment underwriting, and ESG and industry best practice. Before Alliance, she held several positions within The Townsend Group. Stevens has served as a representative member of UN PRI, GRESB, PREA, PREA Foundation Diversity Working Group, IREI, WIIN and NCREIF and spoken at numerous educational and industry events. Her awards include the inaugural GRESB Leadership Award, Chief Investment Officer’s 2019 list of influential investment consultants, and the 2021 GlobeSt. Women of Influence award. Stevens received a B.B.A. from Ohio University and serves on the school’s Executive Alumni Board.
