Catella fund sells Dutch residential property portfolio for €215m

Catella Investment Management (CIM), Catella Investment Management Benelux (CIMB) and alternative investment fund manager platform Catella Real Estate AG (CREAG) have completed the sale of a large asset portfolio to an affiliate of Lone Star Funds on behalf of the fixed-term institutional fund Panta Rhei Dutch Residential, marking the planned termination of the fund. The transaction brings together Catella’s European investment management platform with its local expertise in the Dutch residential market.

The portfolio transacted comprises 13 assets across the Netherlands, including 923 residential units, eight commercial units and 505 parking spaces, with a total area of approximately 62,739 square meters (675,317 square feet). The investment concept was classified as “Core+” (in accordance with the style classification of the European Association for Investors in Non-listed Real Estate Vehicles).
