Alberta Investment Management Corp. (AIMCo) has appointed Dan Teper as senior managing director and global head of real estate.
Teper will lead AIMCo’s global real estate platform, with responsibility for capital allocation, portfolio optimization, strategic planning and the organization’s real estate investment teams across geographies.
He has more than 20 years of institutional real estate investment, capital markets and advisory experience. Most recently, Teper led global real estate activities at the Abu Dhabi Investment Council and previously held roles at Brookfield.
