CBRE Investment Management acquires Bedford logistics distribution center for West Midlands Pension Fund

CBRE Investment Management (CBRE IM), on behalf of West Midlands Pension Fund (WMP), has acquired a prime logistics distribution facility in Bedford, United Kingdom.

The freehold asset comprises approximately 462,700 square feet of logistics and office accommodation on a 22.5-acre site within Marsh Leys Business Park, one of Bedford’s established logistics locations. The property benefits from direct access to the A421, linking to the M1 and A1 motorways, providing connectivity to London, the Midlands and major U.K. population centers. The asset is fully leased to Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Ltd. and serves as a critical component of the retailer’s national clothing distribution network.
