Stockdale Capital Partners has launched a real estate credit platform.
The firm appointed Alec Maki as senior vice president of credit investments, expanding the vertically integrated real estate investment firm’s strategy beyond equity investments.
The new platform will focus on providing flexible capital solutions nationwide, including senior bridge loans, mezzanine loans, note purchases and special situation investments across a broad range of commercial real estate asset classes. Stockdale has a short-term goal of deploying roughly $300 million during the next 12 months.
Maki, who will be based in the firm’s New York office, joins Stockdale from Fortress Investment Group, where he spent more than seven years on the firm's real estate debt originations team.
