Waterton acquires garden-style rental community in Franklin, Tenn.

Waterton has acquired the Wyndchase Aspen Grove rental community in Franklin, Tenn. The sales price was not included; however, Nashville Business Journal reported it to be $128 million.

The 560-unit garden style community is located at 3100 Aspen Grove Drive and provides renters with relative affordability compared to homeownership in this sought-after suburb of Nashville. The low density of the 60-acre community represents a unique offering in the Nashville MSA. The high barrier to entry, tapering supply pipeline and strong employment fundamentals present a strategic opportunity to execute a value-added program across residences and common areas.
