Mitsubishi Estate Asia has plans expanding its investment in Australia’s logistics market through a joint venture with ESR to develop a $490 million logistics project in Western Sydney, according to Mingtiandi.
The project, Huntingwood Logistics Estate, will total 114,005 square meters (1.2 million square feet). The development marks the second partnership between Mitsubishi Estate Asia, the regional investment arm of one of Japan’s largest developers, and ESR, a Singapore-based logistics specialist.
The joint venture will allow ESR to move forward with development of the logistics complex on a site that has been in its portfolio since 2022.
