The Orange County (Calif.) Employees Retirement System (OCERS) has committed $105.7 million (€90 million) to EQT Exeter Europe Logistics Value Fund V, a vehicle of EQT Real Estate.
The closed-end, value-added fund aims to raise €2.5 billion ($2.9 billion) for industrial, warehouse and logistics properties in Europe. The fund’s predecessor, EQT Value Fund IV, raised €2.1 billion ($2.5 billion) in total equity. New Mexico State Investment Council and The Teachers’ Retirement System of Louisiana also have committed to this fund.
As of Dec. 31, 2024, OCERS had $24.5 billion in total assets under management, with a 7 percent real estate allocation target and $1.6 billion in total real estate assets.
