CBRE IM promotes Dominic Smith to U.K. head of research

CBRE Investment Management has promoted Dominic Smith to U.K. head of research.

Smith will be responsible for overseeing the research capabilities for the United Kingdom and providing thought leadership, advising on fund strategy and supporting investment teams in asset selection. He will manage a team of three and will report to David Inskip, head of EMEA research.

Smith joined the firm in January 2022 as senior director of credit research. Before this, he was at CBRE, where he was responsible for output relating to the Capital Advisors and Valuations business within the U.K. research team. He has more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience.
