The Mesirow Financial Real Estate Value Fund IV has reached its fundraising hard cap of $750 million.
Managed by Mesirow Institutional Real Estate Direct Investments (IRED), Fund IV is focused on multifamily investments in the top 25 to 30 markets within the United States.
Post-pandemic, Mesirow said its sector-focused strategy is positioned to capitalize on long-term secular themes, including an increasing U.S. population, growing numbers of generation Z, millennial, and baby boomer renters, and a propensity to rent across a broadening grid of socioeconomic population cohorts.
