IREI has learned that Lazard, a Bermuda-based investment bank, has appointed Joyce Lo, former director at LimeTree Capital Partners, to lead the organization’s real estate fundraising activities in Asia.
Based in the bank’s Singapore office, Lo will be responsible for building relationships with Asian investors and promoting fundraising mandates throughout the United States and Europe.
Lazard currently has no real estate mandates in Asia but has raised $1.3 billion for European and United States mandates from Asia-based investors within the last couple of years.
Prior to LimeTree Capital Partners, Lo worked as a director at Palmer Capital Asia, as a senior VP marketing, Asia Pacific at Pramerica Real Estate Investors (Asia), and as an associate director – corporate and investor strategy at Sniper Capital, according to her LinkedIn page.
