Deutsche Wohnen has acquired a portfolio of 2,839 apartments and about 100 commercial units from Akelius for €685 million ($777 million).
The deal was announced in February.
Approximately 1,753 units are located in Cologne and Düsseldorf, while 1,086 are in Frankfurt, Wiesbaden, and Mainz.
