Welltower has acquired a 23-asset, 979,000-square-foot medical office portfolio for $400 million from Hammes Partners.
The properties are located in 12 metro markets in Virginia, Washington, North Carolina, Illinois, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Alabama and Texas.
Recently, Welltower and CNL Healthcare Properties entered into a definitive agreement under which Welltower will acquire a class A medical office and outpatient facilities portfolio comprised of 55 buildings from CNL Healthcare Properties for $1.25 billion.
