Japanese private equity firm Nippon Sangyo Suishin Kiko (NSSK) has acquired Hotel Castle Inn Group, owner and manager of six hotels in Japan, for an undeclared amount.
Hotel Castle Inn Group, which operates six hotels — Castle Inn Yokkaichi, Castle Inn Suzuka, Castle Inn Ise, Castle Inn Tamagaki, Castle Inn Tsu and Resort Inn Futami — in Mie Prefecture of the Chubu region of Japan, offers a total of 826 rooms mainly to business travelers.
“The hotels differ on the market thanks to affordable prices and attractive facilities, such as onsen-style bathing facilities, ample accessible parking spaces and comfortable rooms,” NSSK said in a statement.
In addition, NSSK said the Mie Prefecture of the Chubu region has a high demand for hotels that welcome business and leisure travelers.
Following the acquisition, NSSK will manage the Castle Inn Group.
