Hong Kong–based property developer Lai Sun Development Co. announced the Planning and Transportation Authority of the City of London has approved the company to redevelop three properties on Leadenhall St.
The new tower will be London’s third-tallest tower.
The planned properties will be developed into a 56-story tower, with up to 1.1 million square feet of office space.
Lai Sun paid a total of £194 million ($257 million) for the three properties.
