Stockbridge holds $355m final close for value fund

Stockbridge Core and Value Advisors has held its final close for the third fund in the Stockbridge Value Fund Series with $355 million in capital commitments.

Value Fund III was launched in August 2016 following the investment strategies of its predecessor funds, Stockbridge Value Fund I and Stockbridge Value Fund II.

All investors from Value Fund I and Value Fund II committed to the latest fund.

Value Fund I was formed in June 2011 and held its final close in June 2012 with $218 million in capital commitments and Value Fund II was formed in January 2014 and held its final close in June 2015 with $321 million in capital commitments.

Through Value Fund III, Stockbridge Core and Value Advisors will principally seek real estate investments at discounts to replacement cost that will present the opportunity to add value through additional capital investment, leasing, recapitalization, renovation, redevelopment and/or other strategies.
