Mayfair Capital launches £400m U.K. Thematic Growth Fund

Mayfair Capital Investment Management has launched a new U.K. fund with co-investment from Swiss Life Group.

With circa £100 million ($139 million) of equity committed, MC Thematic Growth Fund has already contracted on two purchases with a total value of £40 million ($56 million).

Merseyside Pension Fund is also an investor in the fund, which is being marketed to institutional and family office investors.

The closed-ended structure will raise a further £150 million ($209 million) of equity at a further close, giving a total fund size of around £400 million ($558 million) with leverage.
