Barings has appointed Stephan Weber as head of project management Europe. He will oversee the development projects of Barings Real Estate Advisers.
Weber has nearly 30 years of experience in the real estate industry. Most recently, he was director of special projects for the city of King Abdullah, Saudi Arabia. He has been responsible for the development and launch of strategic projects since 2012.
Weber worked for ICME in Munich and Abu Dhabi, and he also worked for John Buck International in Abu Dhabi. In addition, he spent 10 years as general manager real estate Europe at Sony before joining Henschel & Partner GmbH and Bilfinger and Berger.
