Automating construction to make affordable housing projects pencil

Rick Murdock attended an event in Omaha, Neb., and was amazed by the types of automated construction he was seeing that was available in Europe but still unused in the United States. He subsequently founded a company named Autovol and built a 400,000-square-foot automated construction plant in Idaho, where he focuses on affordable housing projects. Murdock comes on the program to tell his story and highlight the future of robotics in construction.
