What are the most common mistakes companies make when engaging an executive search firm?

Companies who trust their search firm as a true partner tend to have the best outcomes. Close collaboration starts with allowing a peek behind the curtain, even at internal challenges. For instance, if a search firm knows the team around a new hire may show skepticism, the firm can focus on finding a candidate with the right disposition. Companies that maintain communication, providing regular feedback on candidates and the process, help search partners deliver.
