Urban Land Development has received approval from the San Francisco Planning Commission for its ground-up Class A development at 531 Bryant in the Central SOMA District.
The five-story, 55,310-square-foot building includes ground-floor retail and restaurant space, class A office improvements, and a highly crafted architectural design by Handel Architects. Addressing employee well-being, the HVAC system will be designed to draw the highest level of air quality by bringing fresh outdoor air into interior spaces, and energy efficiency to the building. There also will be an abundance of exterior amenities for outdoor gathering, including a landscaped rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the San Francisco City skyline, a 950-square-foot balcony dedicated to the penthouse floor, and a rear-yard open-space courtyard that will be the home to a sculpture garden. On Zoe Street, the building will feature micro retail for local entrepreneurs.
