UpMarket, a New York–headquartered, U.S.-registered broker-dealer and online investment platform specializing in alternative investments, has announced the launch of its Southern California office in Irvine, Calif. Together with its San Francisco office, the new location will strengthen UpMarket’s presence on the West Coast and serve as its regional hub, expanding access to institutional-grade private market opportunities for investors and partners across the region.
UpMarket partners with family offices, registered investment advisers (RIAs) and broker-dealers to source and allocate into high-demand private opportunities — including pre-IPO equity, hedge funds and private equity. With a local presence, the firm will offer in-language services, investor education and priority access to curated opportunities that have traditionally been limited to institutions.
Since its founding in 2019, UpMarket has brokered more than $450 million in alternative investments.
