U.S. Bank has announced that Chris Peary has been named chief private banking officer for wealth management.
Peary will be responsible for advancing Wealth Management’s strategy to deliver integrated banking, credit and wealth solutions for affluent, high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. He will oversee a relationship-driven private banking platform focused on delivering a consistent, high-quality client experience across all markets.
Peary brings two decades of increasing leadership experience at U.S. Bank, most recently serving as national banking lead and West region banking manager for Ascent Private Capital Management of U.S. Bank while continuing in his role as a client adviser. In those positions, he was responsible for Ascent’s national banking leadership initiatives and its growing banking business; he also led teams serving the firm’s ultra-high-net-worth clients.
