Jonathan Stanner will become president and CEO of Summit Hotel Properties. Dan Hansen, chairman, president and CEO will transition to the role of executive chairman of the board of directors, effective Jan. 15, 2021.
Previously, Stanner was executive vice president, CFO and treasurer. Stanner joined the company in 2017 as executive vice president, CFO. He became executive vice president, CFO and treasurer in 2018. Prior to joining the company, Stanner held various roles at Strategic Hotels & Resorts, the formerly publicly traded lodging REIT and affiliate of Blackstone Real Estate Partners.
