Sargent McGowan, CFA, has joined Brown Advisory as a partner and the CIO for U.S. Endowments and Foundations.
With more than 25 years of experience in global public and private equity, asset allocation, and portfolio and risk management, McGowan brings a wealth of expertise. Prior to joining, McGowan served as a managing director and senior team member responsible for investing and managing the University of Virginia’s endowment. In addition, he held positions at Invesco, Sanford C. Bernstein and PaineWebber.
