Rockefeller Capital Management hires MD for Philadelphia office

Matthew Panarese has joined the Rockefeller Global Family Office as a managing director to establish and lead the firm’s Philadelphia office.

Rockefeller’s Global Family Office consists of the Multifamily Office and Private Wealth Management. As a managing director in the Multifamily Office, Panarese will focus on serving ultra-wealthy clients with wealth and tax planning, wealth transfer strategies and family office services, helping families successfully manage their complex financial needs and multi-generational wealth planning. Panarese will also have regional responsibility including overseeing the firm’s Multi-Family Office team based in Washington, D.C.

Prior to joining Rockefeller, Panarese was president of the mid-Atlantic region for Wilmington Trust Co., a role he assumed in February 2017. Panarese joined Wilmington Trust in 2008 as managing director, serving as a senior private client adviser for more than five years before being named regional president for Philadelphia & Suburban Wealth Advisory in January 2014. He was also appointed as head of the company’s Business Owners National Practice Group. Previously, he was a vice president in JPMorgan Private Bank.

Panarese is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
