Thom Smith has joined Regions Bank to serve as Regions’ private wealth management regional executive for Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina.
Most recently, he served as managing director at Fifth Third Private Bank, where he led an integrated private banking team across multiple markets, including Georgia, Alabama, Texas, and California.
Before that, Smith spent nearly two decades at Truist and its predecessor bank, BB&T, where he served as senior vice president and regional wealth managing director.
