PureWest Energy completes $1.84b merger with family office consortium

PureWest Energy, a Denver-based independent natural gas–producer, has completed a $1.84 billion all-cash merger with a newly formed entity sponsored by a private consortium of family offices and financial institutions.

Members of PW Consortium include A.G. Hill Partners, Cain Capital, Eaglebine Capital Partners, Fortress Investment Group, HF Capital, Petro-Hunt and Wincoram Asset Management.

PureWest Energy is a private energy company focused on developing its long-life gas reserves in Wyoming's Green River Basin, where the company controls more than 111,000 net acres in and around the prolific Pinedale and Jonah Fields.
