Private wealth adviser team joins UBS Private Wealth Management

UBS Private Wealth Management has added two new private wealth advisers to its Washington, D.C., firm.

Mikail Qazi and Timothy Martin, a team that manages about $500 million in client assets for high- and ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, have joined the UBS Northeast Private Wealth market from Merrill Lynch Wealth Management.

Qazi spent the past 17 years advising high-net-worth individuals at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. Before that he advised high-net-worth clients on alternative investments at private-equity firm Brookwood.

Martin, who also spent the past decade at Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, focuses on advising high-net-worth individuals and families on retirement planning, investment management and estate planning.
