Precious metals prices fell again on Thursday, Sept 1.
Gold dropped 0.7 percent, while silver fell 1.8 percent lower, platinum is 1.5 percent lower, and palladium is 1.6 percent lower.
Gold and silver have fallen five consecutive months through August. This is gold’s longest streak of monthly losses since 2018 and silver’s worst losses since 2014, reported The Wall Street Journal. Further, silver ended the month at more than two-year low and gold marked about a five-week low.
