Pinnacle Capital Group has appointed Darren Whissen as its new executive vice president, capital markets.
Whissen will spearhead the company’s marketing and sales initiatives, playing a key role in forming partnerships with RIAs seeking to incorporate alternative investments into their portfolios.
With more than two decades of experience in the financial services arena, Whissen brings extensive expertise in wealth management, compliance and product development to his new role. He is recognized as a thought leader in alternative investments, having delivered keynote speeches at numerous industry conferences and authored multiple white papers on integrating alternatives for fee-only advisers.
Previously, he founded Atomi Financial Group, a fee-based wealth adviser. He also held positions at Aliso Advisors, American Elm and Alternativ.
