Wilson Capital has plans to build the 80-story Wilson Tower, located at 410 E. Fifth St., in Austin.
It will be one of the tallest buildings in the state at 1,035 feet. Currently, the Waterline, under construction, is scheduled to be 1,022 feet, surpassing JPMorgan Chase Tower (formerly Texas Commerce Tower) in Houston, which is 1,002 feet.
Wilson Tower will consist of 450 apartment units with ground-floor restaurant and bar retail space.
The project is estimated to break ground summer 2023, after the demolition of the Avenue Lofts, the current building on the site.
