MRP Realty, Asana Partners and Rockefeller Group have secured construction financing and joint-venture equity for Brooklyn & Church, a $250 million-plus adaptive reuse, lifestyle residential and retail project that consists of 460 luxury apartments and 60,000 square feet of activated retail space in Charlotte, N.C.
JLL represented the joint venture group in arranging the construction loan and also facilitated joint-venture equity with Rockefeller Group as a co-developer on the project.
Brooklyn & Church, located at 526 S. Church St. in Charlotte’s vibrant Uptown, will transform the former Duke Energy headquarters into a premier residential and curated retail destination. The project is positioned across from Bank of America Stadium, offering residents an amenity-rich living experience, with access to more than 40,000 employees within a five-minute walk, entertainment venues and cultural attractions.
