Morgan Stanley Wealth Management has launched a new concierge service to enable eligible shareholders and investors to buy and sell private company shares in the secondary market.
The Private Markets Transaction Desk has been launched to help clients access liquidity in the highly fragmented and opaque secondary market.
In a press release, Morgan Stanley Wealth Management noted that growth-stage venture-backed global companies worth more than $1 billion in value have grown from 150 in 2015 to more than 1,000 today, with a current cumulative valuation of $4.3 trillion.
