Asset managers spent $31.2 million on supporting Merrill Lynch events in 2025, according to AdvisorHub, marking a 28 percent increase from the $24.4 million in 2024.
The firm also received reimbursements of $28.4 million for conference and client event expenses, including venue costs, speaker cost and educational costs.
Some fund managers, according to AdvisorHub, paid $2.5 million to host meetings including Merrill advisers. They also contributed nearly $300,000 to charitable causes supported by Merrill.
